how would you start out doing a mosaic puzzle that all colors are black and white? any tips on how to start?

ive already got the outter edge done. HELP

You started correctlly with the outer edge. You can then group the loose pieces into groups; white colors on one side and black on the other. Then continue by doing the areas that mostly have one color.

Look for pieces that have a completely straight edges and ones that have corner edges. Fit these together and you will form the frame of your puzzle. That would be your starting point.
