As a nontraditional freshman at a university it appears as if the first taste of freedom tends to send the incoming freshmen overboard. All they seem to care about is drinking and who they are going to screw next. Hell even their Facebook accounts list interests such as "Looking for Play"
Maybe it's harmones, testosterone or just freedom... Usually after flunking a couple of classes or an STD they seem to settle down.

Because it's awesome!!! If it bother's you, i'm sure you have many other options. Stay home and study, go to church, hang out with family, etc. That's the beauty of it, the sex is completely voluntary, and for many of these kiddo's it's first time they are really getting the opportunity to find themselves. You may disagree, or be uneasy with this enviroment, but you can't expect the environment to adapt to you. You either adapt, or remove yourself.

And this from someone who calls herself Sexaholic? I think it is because many people are unrestricted for the first time in their lives. They don't have to worry about parents showing up or about being home at a certain time.

I'm a junior now and my life still doesn't revolve around sex. My sex drive is on empty, I'm pushing not driving...

i hope your right. hopefully it stays the same next year when i go to college. I think most kids for the first time get to make their own decisions and dont know how to be responsible and handle certain situations. Its probably all a bit overwhelming.
