Yeah but it took me about 1 min to figure it out. How long did it take you. Here is my rating scale
1-5 min - Ooops
5-10 min - Doh
10-20 min - Still OK if your blonde
20-30 min - You need slapped and cold water splashed in your grill
30 - 60 min - smoking weed zone
60+ min - get a clue, your license should be revoked.

About 35 minutes. I messed with it for a long time but the key wouldn't budge from the ignition. So I called Best Buy because I recently had a remote engine starter installed by them and I thought that was the problem. He told me to pound the palm of my hand into the key and just keep messing with it 'till it comes out. It didn't budge. Then I called my brother to come pick me up. Then while I waited I called the dealership and talked to the guy for about 5 minutes. He was analyzing the situation over the phone and towards the end of our conversation he asked if the car was in park. To my embarrassed surprise it was in reverse!

I can relate - I did worse than that once.
I parked my car at a grocery store before riding on a float in the Santa Claus parade once about 10 years ago, and was a bit worried that it would get towed during the parade because I wasn't a customer at that store.
After the parade I returned to the parking lot to find my car still in the lot, but in the middle of the laneway. I had forgotten to pull the emergency brake (standard transmission, left in neutral), and my car had rolled back about 15 feet and stopped, probably shortly after I parked it. No dents or scratches, no angry notes or tickets under the windshield wiper, nothing! Just a very very red face on me!

No, but last night I forgot to take the keys out when I removed my cd from the player. And, this morning I went out to see if my keys were still in the ignition and the battery was dead. I made it into work 5 min late, but I didn't need that on a cold Dec. morning!

if you obtain the main out without putting it in park, then, sure you have executed harm to the lock cylinder. even if, in case you place it in p.c.. and then bumped off the main, then you certainly must be superb.
