What's the scariest thing that has ever happened to you when you were driving??

If you aren't old enough to drive then tell the scariest thing thing to happen to you while you were riding.


Mine was going 65 on freeway and having a car from the stopped lane next to me pull out in front of me. Thank God for antilock brakes!!

i needed to get into theat lane in order for me to turn so i cut in front of him

The biggest thunderstorm I had ever been in in my life. I was on the Interstate, where the speed limit is 75. I got into this thunderstorm, and there was hail coming down, the thunder was loud, but I couldn't see the lightning because it was raining so hard. Also, I couldn't see the mile markers, exits, or the side of the road, so it was like driving with my eyes closed. Plus I had trucks roaring by spraying the water up so much, I couldn't see them although they were a few feet away. In addition, I was only 15, and that was my first time on the interstate since had just gotten my license a few weeks earlier.

Having a big truck in the oncoming traffic come around a bend and mistakenly end up in my lane on the wrong side of the road head on at me. I bailed off the road missing the truck by inches and ended up nose first in a huge pile of dirt. Amazingly the car wasn't serioulsy damaged... just real dirty... Subarus are tough.

A few weeks back i was at a stop light next to the back end of a propane tanker. A car came from behind very fast and smashed into the tanker. parts of the car and truck came flying inside my car. Thats how close i was... (about 5 ft away) Both car and truck driver got out and ran. The other cars, including me, got the hell out of there. On the news I heard it soon exploded.

i replaced into waiting at a bus end, and it replaced into suitable on the nook of the line. I stored finding on the line for the bus and then I observe a guy in a automobile in basic terms gazing me, the automobile replaced into there for a on a similar time as yet I hadn't observed the guy interior. Then he leaves and springs returned to inquire from me if i want a experience, ...Im like umm noo.Then he's like "your're very tremendously"..I became any incorrect way and he drove off.....i think of he concept i replaced right into a hooker , because of the fact my end end replaced into suitable on the cut back lol

When the car began rolling backwards into the highway with us in it, without a driver! It was parked, but the e-brake gave out. Luckily, the person driving was able to run and jump back into the car.

It was a snowy day, and the streets were slippery. I was on my way to the bank. (My mom was driving). When we were driving up, there was an alley.. and someone just flew out , without even looking.. And we had to turn real fast, and go the other way, so we slid down the street.. and we were going towards a Lexus. the entire time, we were just thinking "don't hit the Lexus, don't hit the Lexus". lol.

#1-I fell asleep on my way to work one morning & clipped the back of a phone company bucket truck. No real damage to either vehicle.
#2-creeping to a stop at an icy intersection & the car did a slow slide right thru ..no accident thank god!

When i was in the car when i was younger my dad came to pick me and my brothers up to go some where. We didnt know though he was drunk. He ran threw like 10 red lights and we almost got hit like 6 times. It was freaky it was like my whole life was flashing in front of my eyes! No wonder my mom devorcied him! Now we always have to check if his sober or not before we get in the car.

hmmm...lets see...ill share my most recent one first..


i was at intersection. my light was green, im going to go straight. .it is rush hour. so the car from my left runs the red light, and me and the car on the other side almost hit it. but we both stoppe and let it go. so the car on the other side is turning left right in front of me! while im already in the middle of the intersection going straight. and its like HELLO!!! i have the right away!! so im like, two car accidents within one minute, wow! so after that car, i start to go more, and then the second car from the other side turns right in front of me also! and i almost hit it! that was the scariest, that happened like yesterday! i decided im taking a differant route home from work. bc that is too rediculous.

there was this other one, where this lane was merging...and i was behind a slow vehicle, so i decided i was going to go ahead and merge. save the trouble. but that car that was in front of me, starts merging while its RIGHT BESIDE ME!!! so its coming really really close to my car. so there is two lanes...and im moving to the left, however there is car there! i cant speed up, theres a car there too!!! so im stuck in between these two cars! so the car to the left realize whats going on, and starts speeding up, so i can go to that lane safely. so also, while i was stuck in between those two cars, the cars behind me were honking their horns because that car that was pushing me into the other cars almost hit the car behind me, too. that was really rediculous too!

My crazy ex-boyfriend had scary road rage. He would chase people down for stupid things like not letting him pass. He'd gotten into countless accidents and should've been dead a hundred times. Thank God I was never in the car when he kept almost killing himself.
