Some courts have and enforce a strict dress code that is clearly posted at the Courthouse.
Either go before your court date and check for yourself, or call and ask someone what the dress code is.
I would advise church clothes; I WOULD, but some people wear inappropriate clothing to church too!

Wear white clothing. Like a white shirt and white pants. White symbolizes good people black symbolizes bad people. Remember the old western movies were the good guys wore white hats and the bad guys wore black hats. You get the picture. Durn cross examination when the D. A. ask you Questions . Keep your answer to yes or no it harder to put a spin on it. If you get my drift. And if he ask you Question that maybe lets say sensitive to you. Don't answer right away. Say some thing like could you repeat the question. This give you time to think of a good answer. And ruin his tempo and momentum. And then maybe add a couple of I still dont understand the question. After a while he ll start to fall apart.

Judges notice how you look, and it indicates how seriously you are taking the problem that brought you to court. It also indicates the amount of respect you have for the court (obviously, the more respect, the more likely the judge is to look favorably on you). Ideally, wear a dark colored suit with matching tie, shoes and belt. Shave. Make sure your hair looks nice. And call the judge 'Your honor' or 'Sir/Ma'am'. Say 'Yes' and 'no' instead of 'yeah' or 'nope' etc.
Good luck.

I suggest that you wear a suit. Period. If you don't own one, then get a nice Oxford style shirt, iron it, and wear it with slacks or khakis. Don't wear tennis shoes. Wear dress shoes - which you can buy at Wal-Mart for less than $20. ALWAYS wear a tie.

Ordinary clothes is fine...But a nice buttoned shirt with nice pants (no jeans) makes a much better impression on the magistrate.

wear an old tee shirt,.....some jeans that have holes in them, wear a base ball cap, but have it on side ways,.....do not shave, and do not comb your hair,.....that should show the judge what you think of him and his court system,.....the truth,.....wear nice clothes,.....and show respect to the judge,.....
