yep , call the mortgage co and ask what the cash pay off would be,

You want to know if you cold sell your home having been there only one year, if that is your question, then yes, but if there is any equity, meaning if you bought it for example 100,000 but is not worth 150,000 you will pay taxes on the 50,000 gainings. You dont pay taxes on it if you lived in the home for at least 2 yrs.
Another thing, ask your mortgage company if you pre-payment penalty.
