LOVE Thayer! Sounds just awesome, and unique in a good way (as opposed to Jaydon, Jaidon, Jhadyn lol).
Hollis I think sounds too feminine - he could easily be called Holly or something. Thayer is unmistakably masculine, and just really cool lol. Thayer Jamane M- sounds really great. He doesn't even really need a nickname - Thayer just rolls right off the tongue.
Good luck and congrats!!

Thayer. Hollis reminds me too much of Hollister, the clothing store.

Out of the two names I would chose Hollis.
Even though you didn't ask about it, I think Jamane is terrible for a middle name. Did you mean Germaine?
Whether you choose Hollis Jamane or
Thayer Jamane that little boy will need to know how to fight because he is gonna be the scape goat for every bully that comes down the pike .
You asked for input ...you got it.

I actually know two girls named Hollis, I think of that as more of a girls name. So I prefer Thayer for a boy.
