Did they ever punish you for something that was not fair?

that just BLOWS my mind!!!!
I DO remember things that happened in my childhood but it sure wasnt anything they did INTENTIONALLY to hurt me!! they were the best parents ever and if i could CHOOSE my parents..I would choose THEM...but NO BODY is perfect!
I remember we went to the eyedoctor every 6 months, dentist, etc...even though there were 6 of us! Religiously!
And we got new glasses and a new case came with it. My Momma told me i couldnt have the new case that had google eyes on it. I was about 9 or 10 , my childs age now. The nurse INSISTED i take the case, because it COMES with the glasses and my Momma spanked me when we got home in front of my friends she babysit for!!! (because i disobeyed)
I guess she thought obedience was more important, but she didnt see that nurse insist i take that case because MY PARENTS PAID for it anyhow and it was STUPID not to take it, she told me...
Well, i will NEVER forget that! Im sure my Momma dont remember it...but i sure do!!!
She didnt do it to hurt me but to teach me to OBEY her come hell or high water....
I dont do that to my kids, but i do believe they need to obey, but i VOWED i would NEVER go that far!! and i NEVER HAVE!!! :)

Too many to mention, but I forgive them, they were too young when they got married; can't hold grudges or you'll just go nuts, I know a woman in her fifities angry at her dead parents and still screams about them - I'm no longer friends with her - and they weren't anywhere near as bad as mine - let it go if stuff is bothering you - counseling helps...

My dad tripped on my pet rat's cage, after I had asked him not to come in my room, the rat ecaped, and I was grounded.

Ha ha (Hillary cackle) they locked me in my room when I was three or four, and there was a big bug in the room (probably a big mosquito), and I screamed and screamed.

i grew up in a violent & alchoholic environment, so yeah everything was unfair. :(
