I want to apply at starbucks but...?

I've never had a job before!! Do they look at grades? Because mine arent the best right now, but im getting them up to par. And if and when i get a job interview what kind of questions to they give (specific examples please!). I really need a job! Another thing, how do I apply at a new starbucks that isnt open yet? Can I do it online? Thanks. =]]

No I never heard of Star Bucks going on a persons grades. (I know some employers do) Anyhow, don't worry places like Starbucks know they are a good place for people to get their feet wet when it comes to first jobs. A lot of times with a new store opening there is a sign telling you where you could go to put in for a job. They ain't kidding when they say there is one on every corner, I am sure there is another Star Bucks close to the one you want to work at, you can always go there and talk to a manager, sometimes other stores are the places to turn in your application. Ive worked at Starbucks and you dont need a resume or cover letter. Just turn in your application. If you were applying for a more professional job, like working in an office, etc, then I would, but not for this.
