The chrono station.
What most people do not understand is how the chrono station works. Every single chrono out there in modern paintball is calibrated to chrono 68 cal paint. It uses a complex mathamatical formula (and when I find it again, I will explain better) to determine how fast the ball is going over the chrono based on the physical charactistics of 68 cal paint. Using any other cal paint, and you WILL NOT get an accurate FPS reading. In other words, a chrono station showing 450fps using 50 cal paint, it's more like you are shooting about 220 fps if you are lucky.
