With the first one you combine the like terms which are (7a-10a) and (9-2). This leaves you with 7-3a

In the second one you have to distribute te 6, so multiply x by six and -5 by six. This leaves you with 3x + 6x -30. Now you can combine the x's to get 9x -30.

In the third one you simply divide 14x by 2 and -2 by 2. (Remember, when multiplying and dividing you don't have to have like terms). So you get 7x - 1

Hope I helped!
