You'll feel better in a few days. The reason the Tetanus shot hurts so bad is it's actually a toxin in your muscle and it causes inflammation. The best thing to do is keep your arm moving and use that muscle often to help disperse it quicker. When I give our patients a shot, I usually recommend I give it in their dominant arm for this reason.

In short, no need to worry- give it another day and you'll feel much better!

God bless

I simply received my tetanus booster shot a few weeks in the past. The shot itself rarely hurts in any respect -- only a tiny sting. The vaccine may also be frustrating to a few folks (it did not trouble me in any respect), so your arm maybe sore for a couple of days. The relaxation of them are only a tiny sting. You'll rarely discover it. Best method to manage it's do not seem on the needle and seem the opposite direction or near your eyes while you get the shot. It shall be over earlier than you understand it. The nurse will frequently positioned a bandaid at the discipline. Leave it for an afternoon or 2. You must be well to swim after that, however ask the nurse simply to be certain.

This is a normal reaction. You may even run a little fever. Take Tylenol or Ibuprofen for pain. You'll be ok in a few days.

Two days max, just take aspirin and it'll tone down.

I just got my booster shot for tetanus, it barely hurt this time around.
