It isnt gunna happen...Cavs dont have the players to send to NJ...you'd have to give a lot for kidd and right now Dallas is lookin like the best candidate...

That would make the cavs a whole lot stronger, but I don't think the Nets will give Kidd up. It doesn't matter if he's 34, he's still one of the best point guards (top 3 definitely) and he'll provide solid leadership to the Cavs.

It would be a short term fix, Kidd is in his 30's (34 i believe) so how much more does he have in him. It would be great to see Kidd and James but in trading, the Cavs may give up another key player and they are wafer thin, they really don't have much and giving up for Kidd maybe more disasterous than productive.
Kidd would benefit and James would benefit but the rest of the team may be ailing. Kidd would at least demand a trade of either Gibson, Varaijo, or draft picks....
Well, we will see if this will be the add to give king james his crown or will this just be more addage to a failing empire??

If anderson varejao accepts the cavs offer this could happen..
the nets badly needs a big man and maybe gooden or ilgauskas plus a good player might do it..
the cavs would be needing someone to replace the big man they lost so i mentioned varejao..
and i think marcus williams is ready to take over for the nets

the nets would be forced to give kidd up because he doesn't want to play for them anymore....
it's all-over the news
this trade would be a lot possible if the cavs acquires anderson varejao because they could sacrifice one of their decent big men(ilgauskas, gooden) +an good player and a second round draft pick...

he and lebrom both wishes!
it can happen if cavs are willing to part ways with gooden & snow or damon jones & draft picks
maybe even more sasha or devin brown.
im not sure if cavs wants to give to much to a 34 year old
all i know nets wants inside presence. gooden is good enough. cavs are ok cuz they are gonna start the 17mil varejao!

He isn't going anywhere....He was sick, and that's why he missed the game.
To the poster above: Varejao can't be traded this season. There's some rule about not being able to trade him for 90 days since they matched the offer sheet. By the time the 90 days are up, the trade deadline will have passed. So Cleveland is stuck with him, at least for this season.

Its is impossible to have Kidd with the Cavs. Most likely he'll go to the Bulls or even Mavs.
