Is there a book for the opening Center Game? What is its name? Where can I buy it? Please no comments on the opening!

Most books along the lines of "Play the Open Game" have sections on the Centre Game.

I know only 2 dedicated ones and even they bundle up the Centre Game and the Danish Gambit.

First: Chess Openings Illustrated. The Centre Game and Danish Gambit, by J. du Mont. London 1920. I don't know if this was ever reprinted so you'd have to buy it 2nd hand. Of course much of the analysis is obsolete.

Second: Centre Game and Danish Gambit by Leonard M. Pickett. 1976. This is only 54 pages and is one of the slim opening volumes Chess Player used to put out. Once again, out of print and you'd be lucky to find one.

However, some guy is selling "Chess Opening: The Attacking Centre Game! With database" on ebay for $4.00 (link below)

I can't vouch for any of his analysis or anything like that but he has a pic of one of his pages, so you can take a look if you like.

Cheers.

Actually I won't, because I have no idea what you mean. If you don't have a good store near, like a lot of people, there's enough online. The large online book stores have pretty much everything and there are also more specialized sites, such as newinchess. You can just type in the opening and the books appear.

Good luck.

You should buy the Encyclopedia of Chess Openings A to E online.

I thought there should be a book on it, perhaps by a master that has found some interesting transpositions, but I have not turned up one yet. Found a lot of interesting online analysis. Kepp on working it, maybe yiu can write the book on it.
