Seriously, if I have sex a couple times in one day, then I want it even more the next day. On the other hand, if I go a few days without, I'm not as frisky.

You have an addictive personality. Sex produces an endorphin rush that your body likes and associates with sex, the closer to your last 'hit' the more your body and mind see sex as an appropriate means to achieve the endorphin rush, that's what 'horniness' is, it's your body anticipating the reward. The further in time from sex you go the less your body places the strong association with sex and the hormonal reward.
This is the same mental complex as a chocoholic, drug addict or fitness junky.
It's good for you though, keep trucking (well not trucking, but you know!) and you'll lift your life expectancy and maintain your fitness level through the rest of your life.

Sex actually increases your level of testosterone, provided you arent getting too much. Apparently, a couple of times a day isnt overdoing it for you, which means you are probably in your 20's.

Sex does produce chemicals that make us feel good. It's a drug and you get hooked and then you ween off it. Enjoy it.
