The problem with blindly hating Adolf Hitler is that he becomes merely cartoonish. Hence we don't learn what really made him evil.
At the beginning, Hitler had some very good, solid ideas about unifying Germany, and positioning itself to be freed from the onerous Treaty of Versailles that was keeping it impoverished, and causing widespread suffering for the German people.
Hitler managed to take a broken, demoralized, impoverished nation and build it to the point where it practically conquered the world. His speeches mesmerized millions. His propaganda spurred the development of a breed of loyalty and bravery the world has seldom seen. For example, only about 500 Nazi youth (many just barely teenagers!)bravely defended Berlin against the Russians. The Russians were literally stopped at the gates of Berlin because of their fierce resistance. They showed a valor and bravery that I doubt has ever been duplicated in the modern world.
If he hadn't tried exterminating the Jews (and other groups: homosexuals, gypsies, etc.), his philosophy might be very much alive, and a matter of debate. However, no one is brave enough to talk about the positive ideas he had, and hence we will never take a hard, critical look at the really bad things he also attempted. He will forever be just a cartoonishly evil character.
As much as I hate Fascism (and I mean REALLY hate it), I'd prefer it any day over Communism. Here's my reasoning.
Communism is a complete fraud. It never works out the way the Party Bosses claim. It is never a "workers paradise". It does not create a "selfless man". Communism does exactly the opposite. It makes everyone poor, and has most people working in miserable jobs far below their abilities. Communism crushes the human spirit.
Communism is like some guy who gives the appearance of being a benevolent figure. Instead, you discover in horror that he is a perverted pedophile who wants to take indecent liberties with your children. He is a monster with a phony mask.
Communism is absolute slavery for the masses. The party bosses live like kings while the rest of the population is reduced to a third rate existence.
Fascism always takes an insidious turn because it wields so much power. However, given enough time it should be possible to at least humanize it. Communism won't allow itself to be changed. When Hungary and Czechoslovakia tried reforms, Moscow sent in tanks.... fast. We forget that Hitler's Germany turned the country around economically. Communism can't produce that type of strong, dynamic economy.
At least with Fascism, you know what you're dealing with. They don't pretend to be something they are not. With Communism, everything was a lie, and for good measure they'd encircle your country with barbed wire and fences to keep you inside.

Hitler blew his brains out. What's the point?
Some will argue he had his good points - he got Germany working after their economy collapsed in the 1920s.
But most will agree he and his band of thugs were brutal terrorists and that outweighs any possible good points he might have had back then.
But he is dead. Let the dead be dead.

I don't hate him because I never met him.
That does not mean I agree with what he did.
That being said, much like modern terrorists, today there would be hoards of people that would defend him...sad but true

This is an odd question to be asking 62 years after his death. If you've studied history at all you'd know there's not much about him to love. Unless you're nazi.
