What should my speech be about?

I have to write a speech for my english class on one of these things:
-cultural literay
- a how-to speech

but i cant think of anything! any ideas on what i should talk about?

What are some of your hobbies or interests? Write a "How to" speech about that.

The reason I suggest this is because its always easier to write about and talk about something you know and enjoy. Giving a speech can be a little nerve wracking. Why make it more difficult by talking about a subject about which you are unfamiliar?

When I had to give a how to speech in 6th grade, I gave a speech about starting a camp fire. I liked camping and it was someting I was comfortable talking about. My speech went very well, because it was just intuitive, what I was going to talk about.
