Anyone in their right mind would enjoy meeting the President of the United States, regardless of his party affiliation. It would be an incredible honor and something you would remember for the rest of your life.

I would never want to be so partisan, that I would not want to meet the President, merely because I disliked his/her party or did not agree with some of his/her policies.

If you are smart, one always take the opportunity offered. When I was younger more arrogant/dumber, I felt I could do it all on my own. Now that I wish to do something significant I don't have the contacts to do it. Granted what I wish to do is a bit on the large side - Change the economics of Renewable Energy.

If one thinks small there are no Sellable Spin-off benefit to subsidize the cost of the infrastructure. Even thinking city size is small when you are thinking about the energy problem.

I'd even go as far is have one with Hillary, if I thought she'd think long term enough to enable my changing the economics of Renewable Energy. Gore is also a possibility if he'd get past the need to kill the 1st world's economies.

It'd be honor to have a "beer" with any president of the United States. So why not?

At first I said no, but then I figured if it was a chance to find out if he's truly evil, or if he is just naive and really believes the stuff he does is for the good of the country - then I would have to do it.

Absolutely. I think Bill Clinton is the biggest liar ever to hold office, he wouldnt know the truth if it hit him between the eyes but you know what??? I bet he'd be a blast to hang out, have a beer and maybe play pool with.

Georgie would be fun to have a beer with (even though I dont drink)

Yes. I am trying to think of someone I wouldn't have a beer with. Can't think of anyone.

No, I'd be on the other side of the "free speech zone" he has them put up when he's traveling around boasting about how much freedom he's shooting into the Iraqi people...

If he's buying, and if it's a good beer, not a crap brand. And I'd never, ever leave my drink unattended around him. Who knows what he'd put in it?

With those caveats, it might be fun to see him drunk. Reliving my college days....I saw lots of drunk @ssholes back then.
