ok,,deal is im a huge skynyrd fan....... love both songs but prefer simple man much more and always have...my fav would have to be mr. banker tho.

Freebird by far, dude i play guitar and i looked at the first 2 notes and freaked the **** out - that solo is banging man, you wont find another like it. BTW, Lynyrd Skynyrd is not just about those 2 songs, Skynyrd has so much more. Man, go to youtube and check out these Skynyrd songs;Sweet Home Alabama, On The Hunt, Double Trouble, One more from the road, gimme 3 steps, Saturday Night Special, The needle and the spoon, Gimme back my bullets, Tuesdays gone, and Was I Right or Wrong. They are all HOT!!

I love Free Bird but my favorite of the two would be Simple Man. It just has just a great message. You don't see that in a lot of songs nowadays. I think everyone should listen to the song and take something from it.
