ok, I have a wired router and an xbox 360 that need to be connected. All the ports on the wired router are used up, and the router isn't wireless, so I can't use the xbox wireless adapter. Is there a way around this? Like where I can plug something into a port that switches between two LAN cables???

Well, there is a 10/100 switch, which does exactly that. That's like a $20 part at Staples. maybe look for a "workgroup switch"
