A common misconception is that molecules of solids are harder than molecules of liquids. Explain why this is false.
Please help me..

First, "hard" has little meaning when applied to molecules. At the molecular level, they are all equally "hard." Just because something is a solid does not mean that its molecules are hard. Also, just because a substance is a liquid, it doesn't mean that the molecules are "squooshy." At 0 deg K, every thing is pretty "hard."
