Rich pretending to be poor.?

Question

My grandmother works for the Department of Human Services (Public Aid Dept.) and I went into the office today. A mother and her daughter came in and applied for cash assistance from the government....not unusual right? Well both the ladies had designer clothes and hair cuts, the mother was wearing a fur coat and carrying a Dolce and Gabanna (spelling?) purse, the daughter was carrying a Coach purse and a Razer phone.
It just made me wonder why they needed cash assistance if they could afford such expensive clothing and accessories.
Have you ever seen anything like that before? Do you know of anyone thats always asking for something from you or others but they have plenty of their own?

i work in a store and i can barely make ends meet, but i do, and without public aid. every day i see people pull up in a nicer car than i have, wearing 200$ shoes, all name brand clothes, and gabbing on a nice phone. then they get up to the counter and pay with food stamps. i want to smack them!!! also, i hate it when i see these same people's kids and they are practically in rags, with no coat on in the cold, while mom or dad is all dressed in the latest designer gear.

Sad case, to be sure, but poor people pretending to be rich is more usual. I consider myself rich in heart, mind and spirit even though I have no phone and am talking on a friend's computer. Honesty is my big push. Do life right, or don't do it at all. No phonies or thieves allowed. Amen.

They probably can't afford those expensive clothes. Some people have no clue how to spend their money and are poor because they buy things they don't need.

These are the people that take take take and never give back. They will be needy forever if they don't start giving and stop using others.

they may have all those things but tahts probably what their money is going to. that or they are pretending which last i checked was illegal
