at first i got that but then i wasn't sure and kept checkng and kept getting differetn things. i was confused..but thanks =)

8s - 8s - 12 =
-12

this is what you do. you have 8s - -8s+-12 because you distributed, then
you have 16s-12 because 8s + 8s=16s. 16s-12 is your answere

Well, what you have to do to get the answer is multiply everything in the brackets by the -4, then simplify! Good luck!
