I never I said I didn't have resepct for police offercers nor did I say I do... Don't hate on me, I am the one asking the question here.

...the utmost. They chose to do a job where one of the main incentive is that you can help people. Thats something I respect.
.........now crooked cops, i hate more than anything, Its kinda sad how people generalize all cops to be a certain way, tho. You'd think people would be past all that.

Yes because they risk their lives everyday to protect us. Think about where we would be if we didn't have police officers. The sad thing is is that we only here about them when they do something wrong. Not all police officers are crooked, but the few that are are the only ones who make the evening news. Sad.

Sort of, I believe there are police officers out there that abuse their power and shouldn't but just do it because they can get away with it, I don't have respect for those type of police officers but there are some cops out there that I have respect for, especially ones that make the lives of children and the elderly easier.

Yes because they put there life on the line to protect people like me and you...I did a "Day on the job" for a police officer

I'm biased on this but yes. 99 percent of them are honest and decent people doing a job very few of the people reading this would even consider doing. They get the short end of the stick because everyone has it in for them and they are very visible.

I have respect for them when they have respect for me.Some of them are very ego maniacs. There is this nice one who does the cross walk that I pass every morning on my commute and he is very tall and good looking and I always make sure I am not going too fast when I pass him because I really respect him.:)

yeah i do because they dont make laws they inforce it and some idiots deserve to be where they are and say its the police fault for doing in truely it isnt and how would somebody disrespect the police if they bust their asses to save you when you call.

I have respect for the profession, and the vast majority of officers. only have no respect for the few that abuse authority.
