No easy answer there, and I learned a long time ago that if I didn't know, then don't act like I did. My thoughts and prayers for you and your son! God's wisdom and comfort during this time.

Try to stay calm. You need to get him an appointment with a doctor so he can get a physical and an AIDS test. He may not have it so do not panic before you know. I know that it is easier to say that then to do it. She might have only been trying to be mean or she could have been serious. Even if you teach him to use condoms some people stop when they have been together for a while or if she says she has not been with anyone. There are so many possibilities as to how this can happen. It is illegal to have sex with someone if you know that you are infected. Get him checked out and go from there. If he is infected the doctor will tell you everything that you need to know. If you want to read up on it go to Web MD. It is a great site. Good luck to the both of you, I hope this turns out well.

Well, he may get his wish if he's not more careful.

Wait for the test results before flipping out. Flipping out won't change things one way or another.

The AIDs virus is actually very fragile. He may very well be fine, but there's only one way to find out. Maybe a scare of this magnitude at this time in his life isn't a bad thing.

One more thing. AIDs today isn't the death sentence that it was in the 80's and early 90's.

well that is a hard subject .. first get him tested.... he he is positive it would only be hiv not aides... aides is a result of hiv when proper treatments are not taken..... its not like it used to be people are living 30-40 years now.. do your research... the meds now are so good that they can hardley find any virus. but, the key is to tested and tested for while in the future because it sometimes takes awhile to show up. times have changed ... keep your chin up ...be proactive and if he is positve make sure he tells every partner in the future. there is life after getting HIV. There support groups both for the infected and the family....good luck

Well..... do not panic just because the girls says she has aids.
For all you know the girl is just scaring him.
Go see a doctor and have it tested and find out the results.
ONLY then you can plan the next step.
There is no point worrying, as it would basically trained your energy which rightfully can be put to better use.

take care
