I mean if his name was something like Osama Bisheaqui or something, would it not be screamed all over the news media as yet another terrorist attack? Most certainly a dastardly deed by any means. In other words, do we not have terrorist born here after generastions, or it it just Muslims that are terrorists? Or should we just ask the victims and their loved ones?

Yes if an Arab did this in exactly the same way then Bush would be addressing the nation and using it as an excuse to invade another country.

I think he is a terrorist. Not a terrorist like Osama BinLaden or someone of that nature but a terrorist to the people that worked and were shopping at the Von Maur in Omaha, Ne.

This is my answer from The One's question.

"Read the news.

He was a suicidal teenager. He was kicked out of his house by his parents and had no place to go.

In the end, a woman took him in her house for a while until he got depressed and radical (unstable). Before he committed the shooting, he left a note saying that he was sorry that he was **** for all his life and that the media would glorify him if he did a mass killing.

That's sad. Nobody in the world understands most depressed people. Usually they hide it in until it's too late and now look what's happened."

So..he wasn't a terrorist in actuality. He was just a distressed teenager looking for a way to find solace in his final moments...do not ever call one who is suffering from depression a terrorist. You know that is not true. It is not like the Columbine Shootings, and to a lesser extent, the Virginia Tech Massacre.

Well the Omaha shooting was not a terrorist. Act of terror would be more like it. Just horrible and sad. We have had our own Americans commit terrorist acts. Oklahoma Bombing was one. Timothy McVeigh. We can't think only Muslims are terrorists. I know a lot of Muslims, and I don't think that they are terrorists. But you never know.

A terrorist is one who commits violence for political gain; and there is little to suggest that Hawkins had a political motive. Hence it is a crime not a terrorists crime.
