femoral hernia. I then recieved an appointment letter the day of the appointment but unfortunately too late as had allready missed it. Im now due to go next week. My question is its a femoral hernia..but my periods are absent and my stomach swollen am feeling drained and more tired than usual..its definately not pregnancy so there is no doubt about that..but was wondering if these symptoms are cocnsistent with a femoral hernia.
Im strating to wonder if its something else, but surely the doctor who scanned me would have said so, i cant find anything on femoral hernia were your periods are absent and your stomach swells. Can anyone give any advice or now of any useful websites were i can get more info on this?

Femoral hernias do not usually interfere with your periods.

They may make your stomach swell up if this is associated with intestinal obstruction.

It sounds to me like you have a different cause for your symptoms ... probably hormonal or nutritional
