Does euonymus shed leaves in the winter which grow back in the spring?

Or did I kill my lovely euonymus topiaries?
Should I bring them inside?
I'm new to gardening, can you tell?

You should be find because Euonymus are deciduous and will drop their leaves during the winter.

many euonymus types are sort of evergreen.... in that they'll hold their leaves all winter, turning a bit 'off' in color, and then dropping them quickly in spring as the new growth starts....this is when the golden euonymus is so beautiful !!... variegated ones, too!..... the only euonymus in my yard that is fully deciduous is the burning bush.... so, which kind do you have?... figure that out and you'll know if yours is okay or not...being a topiary, I'd guess you have one that isn't deciduous in the normal way.... and should not have dropped leaves yet..... bringing it into the house may cause the leaf drop if they're kept too warm... they do like it cold in winter while they rest...a sheltered porch or garage might be better if there's sunlight on it....or an unheated room....

Euonymus is deciduous! It is completely normal for them to lose their leaves in the fall/winter. No worries :)
