I am not the best science student. I go for extra help daily. My science teacher is not the greatest person to ask for help. So heres the story.
I dont get conversions.
I went up to her n said "Mrs.-----------, i really am having trouble on this."
and she was like "Okayy just try harder"
So i tried hard and nothing happend
"Mrs.-----------, im still having difficult with this area"
she was like "Kate come on its not that hard"
I was speechless, i was going to rip her hair out.
My grade last mrkng prd was an 82
noww its a
55

thats absurd. I started crying today when i got the results back

thanks<3

No that isn't fair. A teacher is supposed to be there and help you out when you do not understand something. And if you go from an 82 to a 55 that should be an indication that something is wrong. She's there for help and she should help you. You can make a complaint about the teacher to the prinicipal or you could seek help from someone else.

I strongly dislike teachers like that. I am a really good student (not an overachiever or nerd, just smart) and got all A's in every class except Science. I got a B. That might have been part to the fact that I get B's on all of her tests, but THEY ARE SO HARD!!!! Anywho, the class was talking about grades and she said "Not everyone needs A's in every class" AND SHE LOOKED STRAIGHT AT ME!!! ugg, shes tough.

I know how u feel

:o)

No, that's not fair. Try asking your mother if she could tell the school that you did not get enough help when you asked. If that doesn't work, as a person who does really well in her class and ask if they have a few hours in the day to teach you.

wow youre teacher sucks. Ask for help from another science teacher or a guidance councler. Try re reading. If you do not get something pay attention to pics in the book and look up other pics on the internet. Try making a model and maybe get a friend to tutor you

Well, that's not a good thing and you need to report it to a principal or school counselor, someone like that. And your science teacher is not definitely good teacher because she is not helping you for the mark and report it. Good Luck!

Tell your parents what you told us.She is not getting paid to sit around with her teeth in her mouth expecting every student to "get it" just by reading it ut of a text book.If she cannot break it down and explain it so everyone can understand it, she needs to find a different line of work. Also see if you can get tutoring.

Blaming your teacher for your low grade is not going to help you at all. You need to ask someone else for help. Go to your guidance counselor or get your parent to get you a tutor.

No, it's not fair. If I was your mother I would be going to the school & talking to them about this. You tried to ask for help & was not recieved it properly. I would definitly tell your mother & if your mother does nothing, I would go to the principle personally and talk to him/her.

Goodluck, hun.
