I had that happen to me yesterday. There were like 5 people in front of me and about 3 behind me then the next thing I know there is some nasty old bat trying to push me out of the line with her shopping cart. I didn't say anything but when the next line opened up with a new cashier I moved over to that line and she made some comment to me about how I should have let her get in that line. I just ignored her til I was done then waived good bye to her when I left and she was still waiting in line. I was mad but got back at her!

Assess the situation and say something.

I did recently. That dumba*** didn't give a flying fig about cutting in front of me.

I believe people need to be told when they've done something wrong. Maybe they'll will think twice the next time they do something stupid to someone.

Plus, it made me feel good to stand up for myself.

HEHE well what I would do I would say: HELLO I DON'T KNOW IF YOU NOTICED ME, BUT I WAS IN LINE BEFORE YOU EVEN GOT HERE SO AFTER ME, PLEASE

And your story's funny!! Maybe that woman was really in pain-you can tell by the size of her pants I guess

Normally, I would just head back to the end of the line or allow her to take my space so I have to be behind her.

Excuse me, I've been waiting here in line for 2 (bleep) hours, so move the (bleep) out of the way.

I'd have said "No. The end of the line is there. Wait like everyone else".

I usually say "I'm sorry, I didn't realize I was standing in your way." Old ladies are really good for cutting.

Well if I was in a good mood I would let it good and think how rude and tell one of my friends about it.

I hope you let her go ahead of you. Her legs could crack carrying around all that! Wouldn't you feel guilty then.
