When will your country wake up and realise that the bill of rights is irrelevant in this day and age. In particular the right to bear arms. How many massacres by lowlife sc um need to occur before you people realise guns are evil? . You need to do a 180 degree turn and stop glorifying guns in every TV show , movie and computer game you produce. These people are products of a sick culture and you can only blame yourselves when these things happen. You blaze across the world like freedom fighters and yet all you do is stuff your faces on burger and chips and kids are shooting each other at schools . 90% of americans have never had a passport and yet you all seem to know how the world should be run. Get a grip USA and sort your own problems out before you tell others how to run the world .. Intelligent answers only please .. LOL this should be fun

First - what country are you in? Second- the mall was a declared 'gun free zone'. Third- Jamaica had a gun confiscation drive some years back under socialists- Crime rate in Kingston is about tripled, gangs are known to use automatic rifles to collect protection money and support political parties. 4th- compare Swiss and Israeli crime statistics to old Soviet union or wherever you are.

The fact is that there are literally HUNDREDS of millions of guns in circulation in America.
Gun control laws are obeyed ONLY by law abiding citizens. Criminals can pick up guns for $20 on any street corner, and often do so.
If a significant number of the people shopping in the Omaha mall had been armed, the nutjob would NOT have killed 9 people.
Remember the "Red Robin" massacre in Texas a few years ago? Governor Ann Richards had very recently revoked ALL concealed weapons permits in Texas, and made everyone re-apply. There were 17 people in that restaurant who had, until the revocation, held CCW permits. If they'd had their guns on them, the perp would have been dead before he shot more than a few people.
Remember the whack job who killed 20-odd people on the Long Island Rail Road a few years back? A packed train, and he three times shot his - illegal - gun dry and had to reload. No-one on the train had a gun and could stop him.

Wow -- and people always talk about the "ugly American" when what we have here is the picture of the Ugly "whatever" who is too much of a coward to admit where they are from.
America isn't perfect - and neither is any other country. At least you won't walk across any field in this country and found a mass grave of people killed for simply not agreeing with the "ruling party".
We aren't perfect, no one is. Don't like us no problemo --- then don't come here. If you are enough of a narrow minded bigot to judge an entire culture of people because of one persons actions you're just to ignorant for us to even want you to drop in for a visit.

You should come visit and share in our give away programs.
We spend about 380 billion dollaras a year on immigrants.
I had to visit a government office this past week. People were called by at least a dozen languages.

I am a U.S. citizen and much of what you say is true. Regarding gun control, if we make it illegal to bear arms, only the cops and criminals will have guns. Then what? And I doubt seriously that statistics show 90% of us have never had a passport. I have lived in other countries and am aware of how other cultures view us.

The 2nd amendment meant that they had a right to bear arms to maintain a militia for the security of our free state. In this day in age with all the homicides this is pointless and causing harm to others.
