wow...a tough one
earth,wind and fire is my favorite,i would have to say Parliament-funkadelic is next followed by chic.they had a style all of their own.damn...isley brothers are a close 4th to me.

Not particularly crazy about this genre of music...I liked a song or two from some of these bands, but I can't really pick just one.
