Reading and learning. I love to read, and if I weren't so ill right now, would be reading a book a day. I read to learn, to be less blue, to pass time, and for many other reasons.
I used to be passionate about gardening, but since my husband retired, he stole that from me, and so, rather than have conflict over a flower and how/where to plant it, I find other things to feel passion about. Painting is coming up slowly on the backstretch.

Let's go beyond "passionate", how about "comitted" ? I'm comitted to music. The chicken was passionate and involved in the making of an egg, but the hog was comitted in the making of the bacon !

astronomy. when i was younger I used to go to the observatory- it was so fascinating. now i'm an economics major and french minor, and i like what i'm learning...though i still do some star gazing and the such. if it wasn't for the physics courses required for the astronomy major, astronomy would have definitely been my major. :]
