,,nothing much.ran a dead heat with a c minus grade commercial.it had a couple of tasty lines though.couple of month later,i saw the same two lines written into a poem, note for note.the name of this person, i will allude.haven't run across him or her anyway.
influence in any form of art come from "somewhere",that's a given.but to steal, word for word? lord at least have enough creative imagination to at least twist it up a bit.the poem wasn't half bad,but was it constructed all of stolden lines?
guess one could take this as a compliment,if said words were worthy enough to swipe, but word for word.come on.
best to all this season.

2 lines that are word for word, could be copied, but it is totally possible the lines you wrote and the ones you read, could have both been original. I have no patience with thieves, but imitation is a form of flattery. Let's hope it doen't happen to you again.

I have been hearing about plagiarism more and more of late, here and elsewhere. It gives one pause......

Of course the poem was good, I'll bet it was lovely. Considering the source.

Best to you as well.

"He who follows is always behind," as a painting teacher used to say. Most copyright violations aren't worth pursuing.

Wah. If you don't want people to steal your work, then don't post it on the internet when it's unpublished. o.O Really now.
