Ok I have a math test tomorow and I need help with this one quiestion: Make each a unit rate of eaqual quantity,put it in lowest terms.

Ok so I would love help so these are the numbers/question: 4 mg:7g =?

Mg=Milligrams
G=Grams

Can you explain how to solve ratios,proportions and unit rates?Or at least show how you did it?

Actually its more like 4 mg and 7g(exact question)

1 gram = 1000 milligrams so 7 grams = X milligrams

X is divisible by 4 so 4:X can be reduced to 1:(X/4)

Note that since both sides are in the same units, the units cancel. You can write 1 mg: (X/4) mg, but you don't need to and are better off not.
