It's 4 o'clock in the evening,
I feel my true self weakening,
Weaker than birds flying,
At least they do have wings!
I peep outside the window,
It's raining without a rainbow,
I am a bow without an arrow,
A story without a foreshadow!
I search deeper inside me.
Of places I want to be.
Of people I wish to be.
Of sights I yearn to see.
So I ask my memory:
What is there left in me?
Is there any victory?
I asked in deep ecstasy.
But my memory cheats me.
It holds nothing but beauty,
Forgets everything that's ugly.
Refuses to represent the reality.

Yes TD...i know it's hazy and cloudy. But this is exactly how i feel. I tend to be philosophical when i reflect and ponder on myself and my life. =)

Very nice Moonbelle. You seem to have picked up another admirer, by the way. Make sure you warn him of your insanely jealous fiance' with the violent temper who has a fondness for high powered rifles and a good scope from 1 half a mile away or better. Not that I would name names, because that is up to you, but best warn this guy before Stooge finds out.

they should probably get it checked out. 48 hours is a long time to sleep. I don't think thats natural I agree that it is really weird but sometimes I sleep for tweleve hours thats normal. Like I'll go to bed a 12 and wake up at like 11:30 or 12. Thats just being lazy lol but two days? I dunno lol

You begin by dissing yourself pretty badly...but that's ok in poetry.
Oh, Yes!!! You DO have wings to fly....because beauty usually captures a higher part of our thinking...only a human 'bird' with flying wings can see it.
You can see a form of beauty in the ugliest of ugly things...poets are 'plagued' like that.
You fear nothing at all about yourself...only a person with courage would bare her heart and soul to readers, like you've done with this poem!
Good one!

This one is a cloudy, hazy vision in the fog. A very good work of art. Is there more to the story?

There is something positive about this "cheating" of memory: there is nothing wrong in holding "nothing but beauty", on the contrary. You wrote about the ugliness right here, and we have read about it: now it is part of you, but there is no need for you to think about it now.
It is good to read about your happiness.

My memory is lucidly honest
It sees nothing but the exquisite beauty of your smile.
Makes me forget everything and everyone else
This IS my reality Sayang.

Moonbell, Moonbell, you write
very, very well
I see you one day
on a pedistal
clinging to your victorious
cheers from your fans
and your relatives and your
children too you see
because no one can write
as well as you can
Moonbell, my lovely poetess
looking princess to be.......
