Black or brown eyeliner?

Question

I have a tan-ish complexion, and there is only red when I don't tone it out. I wear bronzer and blush for my cheeks. I also wear black mascara, eyeshadow, etc. I have dark blond hair with blond highlights. Black or brown?

i think brown would look better on you than black. you are already fair complexion with the blond hair and the black could look very harsh on you. the picture you posted probably has black. you might also try a dark grey color as well.
i have dark hair and hazel brown/green eyes and wear brown 90% of the time and then dark charcoal grey when I go out.

I reccomend black eyeliner, but not really heavy if it is going to be during the day. the girl in the photo, jamie lynn spears, looks like she is wearing black.

I would go with a chololate brown!

liquid black on top is deffinately the best but if you are doing the bottom only, then do brown solid on the bottom. Unless you do brown solid on the bottom really heavy, people can't really tell the difference. Black is too harsh for the bottom.
If you are doing both, do brown solid on the bottom and black liquid on top. Prestige sells really good liquid eyeliner.( available at longs for pretty cheap)

I think you would look good with black, but this is coming from a 'goth' person, so what else would i say?

Try a smokey brown shadow with it that fades well when it flares. With black, that would look good.

And also: try to match your eyeliner to your mascara. I think it looks...funky to have brown mascara and black eyeliner (or visa versa)

eyeliners come in like 7894314 different shades. so it doesnt have to be solid black or brown. you can meet in the middle & choose a nice brown/black liner. i think that would look nice on you :]

oh & id say that girl has on brown/black liquid liner. because the line is so percise & thin.

you never ware black and brown eye liner together. it all really depends on your eye color if you have blue eyes or light eyes you want to go with black it will make your eyes stand out more. if you have dark or brown eyes you want to go with brown you will want to go with brown eye liner the black with dark eyes makes one, not to be mean to any one, but you'll look like a little emo child
