If you just want to wipe out data, just go after the drive with a hammer and maybe a vice, sounds like fun.

A hard drive password on an old hard drive like that seems pretty strange, some new business computers have hard drive password that prevent data from being changed . and makes it almost impossible for a thief who steals your computer to use it without the password which can only be acquired from the computer manufacturer if you have the computer registered and have proof of ownership. The only thing you can do is use a program like dban to wipe the drive clean before it boots to the operating system.

Hi. Drives do not have passwords, files do. There are some password recovery programs, but I won't get into these (script kiddies). Try a computer shop. They will know what to do.

Toshiba Tecra? (I think) - you cant.

If you need to get a file off the drive, you might be able to if you install it into a USB drive case and boot another drive and view the pasworded drive as the D drive.

I dont think you will be able to boot that drive...

Use another hard drive to boot from & then you can wipe it that way. I can't think of a good reason to even keep such small hard drive,........maybe as a pagefile???
