great question penny, ive often wondered this myself, but all the other answers are true too, as they make sense like people mean it some ar fake, some just got to let you walk so you learn something, lifes a *****! good luck.

because they dont care enough to stay. I know what thats like.
My 2 "best" friendssaid they cared and now they arent my friends anymore. I guess sometimes life lets you down but only to bring you up higher.

cuz sometimes it is easy to let a good person get away then to put in the work to make it work . trust me i know this . this is very true with men they want rhinestones when they have a diamond at home sometimes simple is easy

I just asked my friend the same basic question moments ago. I think its because of timing...sometimes, you just have timing issues with one person wanting one thing and another wanting something else. If it is meant to be, they will return and be together.

Because that person has a distorted definition of 'care', that person probably just said that because he's going through the motions...yuo wouldn't want that kind of person in your life

they really don't care. i Had a friend that said he really cared about me...but never let me talk it was all about him....so to me that isn't care if they let you walk away.
