First let me tell you, the tankless water heater will cost you more than a standard water tank heater. So...your saving is going to be over time. For installation there is not much difference. The tankless water heater is a small unit that you will install on the wall. The key elements inside are a Cooper radiator and the burner with thermo sensor. This unit is very efficient since the burner will heat only when the water is on demand and then will shut off when not in use. The installation varies a little bit depending of the brand but they are basically common. Hope you the best...!

I have one in my vacation house. For the infrequent use it gets, it beats the heck out of paying for keeping the tank warm. We are also able to run 3 showers simultaneously and not worry about having enough hot water.

They save money and work well if you have enough pressure. The water has to come through fast enough to make it kick on so if you don`t have good pressure all the time I would not get one.

They are called Combi Boilers, great arn't they, instant hot water, for heating as well, no need for a power shower this does it all. Just had our boiler replaced and had one of those installed.

I have a small one for the bathroom that I have in my garage. It is great. If the one in my house ever goes out, I am going to see about switching over.

Had one in the past overseas -- realy liked it. Instant hot water , all you need and when it isn't needed you're not buying gas to heat it.

We purchased one which is still in the box. My husband needs to install it.
I'll let you know what I think about it in about six months or so. ;)
Actually -one of our friends have one and think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. That is why we purchased one.
