There's a couple of things you can do, but I would suggest going to a community college. It saves you the super expensive tuition for two years, especially if you're out of state. Concentrate while in community college, and get stellar grades. Then transfer to a respected four year college and finish your bachelor's. Community colleges sometimes have admission agreements with four year colleges. I don't know where you live, but in VA, if you go to a community college, you are automatically accepted into a ton of schools, including UVA, which is one of the best. But anyway, a community college is a wonderful alternative because it offers a second chance while saving money

If you graduate with a low gpa goto a small college like a community college. Get your basics out of the way and try to keep a good gpa in the process and you can transfer to a university. I found that it is much easier to get accepted as a transfer student. Also I didn't think you HAD to have a biology major to get accepted into med school.

Ur Act better be above a 25 or ur not getting accepted anywhere legit. You can take pre-med courses anywhere so dont trip.

You have 2 options tho.

1- Continue with your 2.6 maybe raise it to a 3.0 and go to a decent college

2- During the summer before senior year, do it big and take 3 or 4 college level classes which could bring that up to a solid 3.3-3.55 and get u into a great college.

Ur choice

I would suggest trying to bring your GPA up in high school. Although your high school GPA doesn't matter when applying to Med. School, it will still help you get into a 4 year university. Once you get into that 4 year university and you're pursuing the biology degree make sure you get attain A's; that's going to be one of the major factors. Do a lot of volunteering at hospitals and get in your prerequisites for the Medical Schools you plan to attend. Good Luck!

Study, study, study. Take a lot of the sciences. Get your grades up and WANT to to well.

Read medical information on the Internet. To become informed.

I personally do not want a doctor that could not figure out how to study and do well.
