When I see Christmas decorations on houses and around the city.

I suppose it starts to look that way when I see carol singers in town....and I know I always say that it is looking like Christmas when I walk into central Cambridge and see the BBC outside broadcast truck parked at the front of King's College ready for the Christmas Eve service I mentioned.
