ok...so im 16 years old..and my vagina has been itching a lot lately. and yes..im a virgin. anyway..how do i make it stop? what should i do? and do u guys have any idea as to why it is itching? plz help. thanks.

You should go to the doctor and make sure of the TYPE of infection you have. While it most likely is a common everyday yeast infection, there are other things that can happen (BV for example).
Both yeast and BV can happen at anytime in a woman's life, with or without sex, with or without contraceptives, with or without tampon usage, etc, etc, etc. It all has to do with hormone fluctuation; nothing more nothing less.
So please don't get all freaked out and think your mom's going to accuse you of having sex. She's a woman, and I can totally guarantee she's had more than her fair share of yeast infections as well. So tell her you've got this and ask to see the doc.

You could have a yeast infection or a urinary tract infection, make an appointment with your ob-gyn or your normal doctor to find out, until you get an appointment, a cool wet washcloth will help with the itching

any number of reasons why you itch, i have two daughters and they had this complaint. there are a few creams you can use that are over the counter to help this. If it gets bad go see a Doctor. I almost used this cream as tooth past one day...almost!!!

This itching can be a sign of a yeast infection. I was 16 when I got my first yeast infection. Please let your mom know what is going on and also please let your doctor know so that they can have this situation evaluated further to see what they say.

You might have an infection and if it is really irritating, then go to a doctor and get checked. It should go away within some time. Good luck.

when my vagina is itchy,i wash my vagina everyday in the shower.heck,u SHOULD be washing it everyday!sometimes,my mom would put lotion on it.like medical lotions,because she's a nurse.the reason why it's itchy is probably because u don't wash it every day.u have to wash the inside too.

Yeast infection. Talk to your mom. It doesn't have anything to do with anything you might have done. It just happens.
