HI, Take a triangle of base "b and height "h" . we suppose that the triangle is made up of infinite strips . Now we''ll prove this problem by integration. In this method we take a small strip find the area of the strip and then integrate to find the answer. Now let us take a strip of lenght "x" and at a distance of "y" from the vertex and of thickness "dy". Now the elemental area of the strip dA = xdy. Due to the concept of similar trangles hx = yb and then x = yb/h. Put the value of x and integrate put the limits of y starting from 0 to h and you will get the answer to be A = (1/2)bh
