Ok, he can sing, but even on an operatic level (which he's supposed to be on) he's not great. He is very gimmicky and it annoys the hell out of me that they nearly always finish the show with him - i.e. to keep him in people's minds. Credit where credit is due he's a great performer and knows how to work the crowd but the one with the real voice, the real singer in this - is Niki. I think it's a fix for Rhydian to win. Even if you compare their auditions when they had to show their true talent with no coaching or gimmicks she was much better. I know lots of people won't agree, so I'd like to know what ye see in him and maybe it'll clear things up for me. Cheers.

I agree that they milk the thing about her father but I think that's more Louis Walsh's doing than hers - if he told her not to talk about it she wouldn't.

We talked about this yesterday, and I have say say to everyone that, this Gay-Boy is a ball burster, I can't stand him. As we all can see and agree, Nikki is the Real Tallent.
Why is he so up himself, even I don't love myself that much, lol

Good point about Niki; she has a beautiful voice and is my second favourite (second to Rhydian, I'm afraid!) but I can see Simon wondering how marketable Niki is. Rhydian would certainly be able to sell an album and then I can see him going on to stage performing in something like Phantom, so he's certainly got more potential for money making than Niki. I truly don't think it is a fix for Rhydian to win; it was certainly heading that way for Hope until Simon finally realised that the public just weren't buying it. Sorry - Rhydian to win! He's truly talented, a great entertainer, and more marketable than Niki in the long-term.

Nikki has a great voice, but come on, you think she's more talented than Rhydian?!!! Rhydian has a great voice PLUS star quality. Nikki's talented and 'nice', but a star? I don't think so. Even without the gimmicks Rhydian is still BY FAR the best. Did you see him singing You Raise Me Up? No gimmicks there, and he made people cry. He is too good for X Factor. He should be on Broadway with a voice like that.
Claire- Beverly had a good voice. More talented than all the Hope girls put together...BUT she had zero star quality- Hope did. I'm glad they stayed (but glad they got voted off last week)

Nikki is like ya regular house wife getting up to do a karaoke night, don get me wrong shes got a greatvoice but she cant sell records and never will to the audience that the programme is set out to promote.
Rhydian is something else he's got the X factor simple as that
you may not agree but if there is justice he IS the winner he is the almost finished article straight out of the box.

It's simple, You can have the best voice in the world but if you don't have a charisma that people want and relate to then its just dosen't have the same impact. When its visual you have to like what you see as well as hear.
Fair due's, the programme manipulates it's viewers with quite surprising ease (which i find scary) but Rhydian has that edge where your just not sure what the guys gonna do next.

Rhydian is going to be a huge star - he is just sooo talented, but I don't think he'll win. He's not really what Simon & Co want. With Hopeless now gone, I think either Leon or Same Difference will win it, but I really hope that Niki does.

I think that since he has been trained classically he is a cheat. The whole X Factor show is built up on finding talent and giving those people a chance of stardom. Rhydian contradicts this because he started off on a higher footing.

I know it's mad. He freaks me out just looking at him with his hair and weird small eyes!! I think there is only one song that I can say really suited his voice, all the others sound like you say 'gimmicky'. He would be great for theatre but that's it....he does not have the X-factor. Niki to win!

I don't. I think he's got a good voice, but I find his staring eyes quite disturbing and void of emotion. He's better than Same Difference though, they've gotta go lol !!

coz he's the only one who does not make any fuss, his singing is astronomical and hes different...i am sure he's going to win, just because he looks "different" does not mean he's not likeable, he happens to be a very nice person....from what i see, people are judging him by his looks instead of judging him as a person...i really like him and i am voting for him every week...i want him to win....
