Team 1's other left wings are Tomas Holmstrom and Paul Kariya

Team 2, unless Team 1 already had really awesome left wings and didn't need Sedin. Then it might be a draw. Thornton is the best guy in this trade, but he is not worth all four of those guys. I would not put much stock in Leclaire or Wisniewski, that is for sure.

Here's Barry's assessment. Not quite sure how deep your league is but Wisniewski is not fantasy worthy and should be replaceable in any league so completely disregard him in this trade. Team 1 is clearly downgrading at center which is the deepest position in the league and easy to scoop streaky centers up. He is obviously giving up one of the hottest goalies in the league, but one who had battled for the starting position early in the season and clearly has question marks about his long term durability. Team 1 downgrades at center, picks up a top lw who has posted solid season long stats each season, a top dman on what will is one of the best teams in the league, and a definitive #1 goalie on a team that will battle for a mid playoff spot in March. Despite giving up one of the best, hottest and toughest centers in the league in Joey T, i give the edge to Team1. Ofcourse it all depends on the other players on each team but i don't like Kariya as a second line LW in any league.

Hope you find Barry's assessment helpful.

Team 2 had to drop a guy but got 4 front line players. Winner by a country mile.
