This is a bias site so sad. I entered my son's data, he's
speech delay with no other developmental problems. If I
entered his speech delay levels, he has mild pdd, if he has
no speech problems, he's not pdd, what is that, not right at all. In this test, if you are speech delayed you might be autistic based on nothing else. My son is one of those kids who doesn't seem to want to talk, but understands EVERYTHING. So just because your child is speech delayed does not mean they are autistic. Too many people are jumping in to get an autistic label, when you really can get an accurate diagnosis until they are 4.

Actually, every theoretical assumptions are biased. You can't really rely on anything that has no direct connection to the patient itself.

But, I saw the site and it is not really negligible. The questions are well defined and well-researched. If you think it is unreliable, discard it, but keep in mind that it is a good questionnaire.

You can also check this site:

It has various tips and consideration that may help you to improve your child's communicative abilities.

Now, you mentioned that you're son is speech delayed. How old is he?

Actually, I'm afraid that there might be complication scarier than PDD/Autism. Have you heard about the disease called "Expressive Aphasia"? It is a disease formed when the Broca's Area of the brain or the motor speech center is damaged. Obviously, the child can't express what he or she wants to say, but can understand ANYTHING.

I guess, you should let your son take his check-up. I'm afraid it is a brain damage more than PDD/Autism.

If you still want to talk about it, you can IM me.
