i found some numbers but dont know if its the numbers to the engine the numbers i found are 3614995 n2 or something like that

it will say 340 on the side of the block...and the 318 did come with a 4 bbl...all the Gran Fury cop cars had 'em. The 340's came standard with a double roller timing chain and windage tray also...that might help identify what you have...

I don't think Scamps were offered with the 340, but it would not have been a problem to drop one in the engine compartment. I can't remember exactly where the displacement can be found on the 340, it's either on the block just below the deck or just above the oil pan on one side or the other and will be found with other numbers. Sorry I can't be more definitive.

If it has a 4 barrel more than likely it's a 340 i dont think mopar came out with a 318 with a 4 barrel,call a mopar dealer with those numbers they might be able to tell you what motor it is
