Has anybody else noticed that the BBC has a strong anti-American agenda?

I've been to America four times, and it is nothing how our media depicts it. The people in America are just as intelligent as the people here, the quality of living is practically the same, however our Media seems to really hate the States. My question is, what for?

The BBC and all of the British media are controlled by the British establishment and they DO profess an anti-American agenda.

I havent noticed. What I do notice about the bbc news is that it is very selective in what stories it covers and instead of giving out details on many stories it goes over the same stuff again and again. The canoe dude is a good example, i mean who cares, I think coverage of Iran Iraq and other serious global issues are of more importance than some knob doing an insurance scam.
