It's a story written I believe in the time period of 1920-1950, I thought it was written by James Thurber, but couldn't find it in his catalog.
The story is about a wealthy family that have a "smart house" the children, a boy and a girl, have a playroom that turns into whatever they want it to be, they turn it into the Serengeti and lure their parents into the room to be eaten by lions.
Kind of morbid, but I read this in school as a kid, there was also a movie made based on it. I can't remember the author or the title...PLEASE HELP!

I believe that was Ray Bradbury and the story was the Veldt and it originally appeared in The Illustrated Man. Great story, great book.
